Section One

Welcome to Multiple Travel Club "Thailand's Vacation Club." Following, you will find some useful advice and information regarding your MTC membership. This User's Guide is to help MTC members use their privilege easily and more efficiently. Whether you have been a conventional timeshare owner or are new to the world of vacation ownership, you will find this information helpful.

The MTC office opens Monday to Friday from 9:00 am unit 6:00 pm and on Saturday from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm.

Section Two

What are floating weeks and floating units?

The old style timeshare was sold where the member owned a week (fixed) in an apartment (fixed) at a particular resort; example: week 25 in apartment 1201. The member had to use that week in that apartment at that resort every year.

A floating week means that your week is not fixed. It is floating freely. Imagine 52 balloons with three colours (red, white and blue) in the air and you own one of them. Each balloon represents a week in MTC. These balloons or weeks do not belong to anybody until a member contacts MTC to reserve a week. When you make a request the MTC representative will pick a week which matches your membership (red, white and blue) and reserve it for you. Then you can stay at any MTC Resort or exchange to an RCI resort. It really is that simple!!!

Remember :
	-	Red Members can use Red, White or Blue time for 52 weeks a year (excluding Thai New Year, weeks 51 & 52)
	-	White Members use White and Blue time
	-	Blue Members use Blue time
	-	All colour bands are void 30 days prior to check-in.

A floating unit means that you can stay in any MTC apartment at any MTC resort. You are entitled to use all of the MTC resorts in the size apartment and colour band that you purchased.

Remember :
	-	Studio apartments sleep 2 including children
	-	One bed apartments sleep 4 including children
	-	Two bed apartments sleep 4 or 6 including children
(Children under the age of 6 are not counted)

The MTC floating week and floating unit system gives our members the most flexibility and choices of locations. Members can choose when and where they want to stay during their vacation.

Section Three

What's in your owner pack?

Within the owner pack, you will find :

A.	MTC Folder : with MTC resort information, pictures of the resort and local information.
B.	MTC Certificates entitling you to: 1) Upgrade your membership 2) Use a bonus week 3) Cash discount offer
C.	Purchase Agreement : This Agreement is important; it is proof of purchase besides your membership certificate from Hutchinson Trust Company.
D.	RCI Information : you will find more than 4,000 resorts around the world from the RCI Directory (the RCI directory will be sent to you by RCI).

Section Four

How to book an MTC Vacation?

First , selecting an MTC resort. By looking through the MTC Brochures you can select a resort. Each MTC resort has different activities and interests. You should always select two in case one is fully booked.

Second , the time or date you and your family would like to take your vacation. After everyone agrees on the resort and date, you need to decide on how long this vacation is going to be. Only these two simple steps, then you are ready to make your reservation.

To stay at any of the MTC resorts, you do not need to call RCI. MTC will provide you with all the information including - airfares, car hire, transportation and tour guides in different languages.

RCI Exchange Vacations
You need to deposit your MTC week into the RCI Space Bank Pool. So, call MTC Member Services and tell them you want to take an RCI Exchange Vacation. MTC Member Services will deposit a week for you.

Then you can contact RCI directly to reserve a room, please refer to page 8 for the toll free number. You should plan vacations abroad as far in advance as possible. When selecting a vacation destination with RCI choose an area to travel to, not one particular resort.

The exchange fee to RCI resorts in America or Europe is S$183 (Singapore Dollars) and the exchange fee within Asia is S$128. (Price may change without prior notice).

Reminder: you need to contact our MTC representative as soon as possible to
	a)	Deposit your week to RCI.
	b)	Save your week for future use.
	c)	Internal exchange to other MTC resorts.

For example: you do not want to travel during year 2006, Call or fax to MTC Member Services and tell them to save your week for future use. Otherwise you will not be able to use your 2006 year in future.

Split week Reservation (US$20 fee for this service) * Price may change without prior notice.

MTC, " Thailand's Vacation Club", we know what Asian travellers want. They love to travel around and see many places during their vacation. This is why MTC makes every MTC Resort a split week resort, with both mid-week and weekend check-in available for split week reservations.

Mid week check-in (4 days)
You can check in on Tuesday after 4:00pm and enjoy your vacation until 10:00am on Saturday morning.

Weekend check-in
You can check in on Saturday 4:00pm and enjoy your vacation until 10:00am on Tuesday morning.

Two Resorts in one week? Two breaks in one year?

Members can use two MTC resorts in one week while they are travelling in Thailand . Members may also break their one week into two mini-vacations to be used within one year.

Section Seven

Want to spend more than a week on vacation?

Flexibility and variety are benefits that MTC members have. You can stretch your MTC vacation into more than one week a year. How? There are several choices.

1.	Use your week from next year : You can ask MTC to borrow a week from the following year and use it now (maximum 2 years ahead, maintenance fee must be paid before use)
2.	Purchase a getaway special : RCI offers special programmes from time to time. You can find information regarding this program of programme in your Endless Vacation magazine.
3.	Purchase "Bonus Time" from MTC : Call MTC Member Services and ask for "Bonus Time": tell the representative how many people (size of unit needed) and the resort you wan to go to. If space is available it is yours for the cost of the maintenance fee. Available 14 days before travelling only, 3 days minimum stays.

Section Eight

Lending your week to friends

You can do so if you do not want to travel during the year. Lending your week is easy to do. Just make the reservation for your friends, let us know who they are, then MTC will inform the resort of their arrival. Remember you are responsible for the behaviour of any relatives, tenants or guests and for any breakages.

To issue an RCI guest certificate, there is an extra charge of S$ 50.
To issue an MTC guest certificate, there is an extra charge of USD 50.
